Subaru Global Platform.

For over 50 years, Subaru has been well known for its reputation as a manufacturer that pays attention to the safety of passengers and road users. The use of Subaru Global Platform proves dedication to “safety” in one higher level. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-Mode.

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive has been Subaru's identity for more than 30 years. X-Mode is present in both types to improve all-terrain cruising capabilities, the latest version of this technology features an optimized X-Mode which controls the engine, transmission, and brakes on slippery surfaces, improving driving ability in off-road conditions and uneven roads. In the Subaru Forester 2.0i-S EyeSight variant, there are Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes that can be changed with just one touch to improve the vehicle's capabilities in various road conditions. The combination of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and the latest X-Mode in the all-new Subaru Forester promises “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind” in all road conditions.

BOXER Engine.

Subaru believes that the BOXER engine configuration with 180° symmetrical axle layout results in a balanced, smooth, and minimal vibration engine. This configuration allows for a lower engine position and an “ultra-low center of gravity” for more stable handling and a more pleasant driving experience.

The all-new Subaru Forester marketed in Indonesia is equipped with 1 engine choice, the Subaru FB20, BOXER Engine, 4-cylinder, 2.0L Naturally Aspirated which produces 156 ps of power at 6000 rpm and up to 196 Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The engine uses a 7-speed Lineartronic CVT transmission and Active Torque Split AWD for a smooth and even distribution of power in all revs and road conditions. Shifting gears can also be done manually via paddle shifts on the steering wheel. This engine and transmission combination offers a balance between performance and fuel consumption.

Subaru EyeSight.

Subaru EyeSight is an Advanced Safety Equipment that has been developed by Subaru for more than 30 years with the principle of assisting the driver with 2 additional eyes. The Subaru EyeSight feature installed on the Subaru Forester model year 2022 has received the most recent refinement and is entering its 4th generation. The focus of this technology development is to provide enjoyment and peace of mind in driving in any condition.

Subaru Forester 2.0i-S EyeSight is equipped with several key features of the Subaru EyeSight, such as Adaptive Cruise Control that can follow the speed of the car in front of you according to the maximum speed input, Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle management to reduce potential incidents. There is also a Lead vehicle start alert that helps us follow the car in front of us at traffic lights, Lane departure warning, Lane sway warming, and Lane keep assist which ensures the car is on the right track, and Subaru Rear-vehicle detection (RSVD) which minimizes the risk in blind spot side.

Exterior.

In line with Subaru's "Dynamic x Solid" design philosophy, the exterior design of the all-new Subaru Forester combines the rugged character of a true SUV with comfort and easy-to-operate features.

●   The design line is quite strong with a new front fascia, X front bumper design, and headlamp design with a new daytime running light motif, as well as an LED projector with Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) and Steering Responsive Headlight (SRH).

●     At the front, there is an underguard that blends with the under-body flat panel.

●     On the side, there are 2 (two) body lines on the side and 4 (four) solid fender lines.

●     At the back of the lamp, the C-shape design is maintained.

●      Center-spoke steering wheel with buttons for operating Subaru EyeSight (Adaptive Cruise Control), Infotainment, and Subaru Intelligent Drive, for Intelligent Mode and Sports Mode driving modes, as well as paddle shift.

●       The instrument cluster comes with 2 (two) dials and one LED screen for interactive information

●       The infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is standard for all variants

●       The second screen on the center console displays more complete information such as; fuel consumption, temperature, OFF-ROAD display, Subaru EyeSight, and Compass.
